Response AB East of Eden

At times I find it amazing how many people say that the have had contact with the bible and that the knowledge of the biblical stories have, in one way or another given them insight to the deeper meaning to many stories. It probably shouldn’t surprise me though because many stories mirror the bible. East of Eden defiantly being one of them. You can also see it many of the popular movies that have been made, "Star War", "The Lord of the Rings", and "Tombstone" to name but a few. The Bible is used as one of the ways we define literature even if only for the sake of defining the concepts of good and evil. I’m sure that you will find that the books by Christopher Paolini you will find that there are many biblical overtones.
